I didn’t make it…

September 30th, 2006 -- Posted in | No Comments »

I was suppose to go to the second day of Juggling yesterday and see my friends from the Damentos but I was sooooooo tired. If Juli’s car was in good running condition, I would have made the effort to go. The bed was so nice until 12 noon. Then, I did a couple of things around the house and then was a couch potato the rest of the day.

I went to juggling today. I passed with Cindy, Jed and Kevin. Did a couple of patterns with drop backs, in lines, a box, a Y, it was fun. Juli and Riggs stopped by on their way to SF (Riggs needed to find socks) plus Juli wanted to see the vendor tables to stock up on juggling supplies.

I have to say that every city other than Livermore has an excellent Grocery Outlet. The one in Berkeley had some good shit.

I’m done..

I’m roasted, I’m toasted, poke me with a fork, I am done.

Work has been excessively stressful. My co-worked has been gone on vacation since the 15th of Sept. He comes back on Monday the 2nd. Whew. I feel like I have been whipped and forced to sit at my desk with no turning back until 7:30 pm every night. Now my back hurts and I am suppose to juggle and relax this weekend. What’s a girl to do? Actually I am looking to pay for a massage which I haven’t done since last year with Jaime at Apple Hill. It’s time to get a massage!

The Penny

Do you think we should get rid of or keep the penny?

Blackhawk LPGA

September 24th, 2006 -- Posted in | No Comments »

Jason and are attending the Blackhawk LPGA today. It will be a lot of fun. I have never been to a professional golf event before. There will be a group of 5 of us today. I am not excited yet to go but maybe after a shower and a short read up on the Internet, I will start to get amped.

off to a slow start…

September 24th, 2006 -- Posted in | 2 Comments »

whenever the work week is so draining it’s hard to jump up on my feet and get moving the following today. So, today is Saturday. Jason got up at 10 am to start work on Juli’s car. (She needs a new radiator hose, clamps and anti-freeze. Her car overheated on the Bay Bridge yesterday. She was unable to drive home because of this. Lucky for me, we were able to hang out and watch Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Jason and I have not seen that movie yet, Juli has, and it was a great movie).
So, Saturday, Jason worked on the car while Juli and I chatted and watched Saturday morning TV. She left for home around 12:30 pm. I ate lunch and took a nap around 1:30 to until 2:20 pm.
I am meeting my friend Kevin in San Ramon for some juggling. I haven’t juggled since Isla Vista with my friend Jennifer in early April. I am out of synch from passing and regular juggling. I wanted to get some passing in before the Berkeley Juggling festival.

It has not been fun….

This week has been so hard and I worked such long hours. My counterpart at work is on vacation for 2 weeks and I have to do his job as well as mine. So many calls, so many demanding people and my usual turnaround time is 2 hours and not it’s approx 1 day. I hope next week is slightly easier. I am beat.

a friend over..

My friend Juli will be staying the whole week with me. She is a PA for a commercial shoot. I hope I can hang out with her since we will both be working long days.

Her hours are approx 6 am - 8 pm and mine are approx 8 am -7:30 pm. I am sure we will find the time to chat.

yummy gay nineties pizza leftovers

September 18th, 2006 -- Posted in | 2 Comments »

The J’s went to Gay Nineties Pizza in Pleasanton, CA on Saturday night for dinner.

The last time Juli and I went there was 6 months ago with our friend Jennifer and her sister Beth (that refuses/tries to be our friend).  Jennifer and Beth ordered a pizza that had pineapple and feta cheese on it.  It looked really yummy.  So, Juli and I ordered this pizza on Saturday night it was SUPER YUM!!! :)  So, I also ordered an additional small pizza to go.  I had leftovers yesterday and today.  So Good!  Thanks for the great pizza topping idea- Jennifer.

Lazy Sunday’s

September 17th, 2006 -- Posted in | No Comments »

Not entirely lazy, I did do 3 loads of laundry and I wrapped a baby gift for my next door neighbor’s new baby boy.  I also, organized the office and cleaned up the kitchen.

I did engage in several hours of TV and running errands.  Isn’t that what Sunday’s are about?  Trying to get shit done before the start of a new week?

So fun at the water park….

September 16th, 2006 -- Posted in | 1 Comment »

Waterworld was so much fun.  First we bought our tickets online for only $19.99 which saved us $10 at the gate (each).  Then, we staked out our place and locked up our belongings.  All the rides were so much fun.  There had to have been at least 3 more rides since I was there in 1996.  The Tornado, The Big Kahuna and a ride that looks like a taco that I can’t remember the name.

Yes, I got a tan and had fun with the J’s.  The next waterpark to hit next year is SunSplash in Roseville.  The J’s claim the “at night” is better than the day time and there is this ride that looks like a toilet bowl without all the porcelain :).
