to Tampa that is for my yearly business trip. It’s such a long trek and I hate traveling that far. Hopefully this will be the last year in Tampa and next year will be closer like Arizona, Texas, Colorado- somewhere closer to Cali please. Only 5 more days then I get to see my Dad. I haven’t seen my Dad since the 9th of January plus I get to see my Mom. sigh!
It’s really crazy that I let myself go sometimes on the physical appearance because something else in my life is causing so much pain. They say that most women eat to fill the “void”. The “void” could mean anything to everything to all women. My “void” is emotions. I haven’t really grieved at my Dad’s illness. He has overcome one of the most dangerous surgeries out there and still has a long feat ahead of him. It so saddening to see so many things change right before your eyes. It’s like living in an unforgettable dream. It’s almost as if you are not living the life, but you are, but you are wondering how all has happened and how you got where you are now. It seems like a lot of words but do you know what I mean? Ugh! Only time will tell and my patience is always my virtue.
There are some yummy restaurants that popped up down the street from my office. First, I was so excited when Elephant Bar opened up the 1st week of January. Now, Panera Bread is right next door. I am so thrilled. Yes, I get SSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited about food. My whole family does. Food is Food and WE LOVE IT!
I might have to go to Panera Bread on Friday. YUMMY!
Life is getting better and since the previous post, things are looking brighter. I guess I should have made a post titled “Waiting”. But the waiting has been good thus far.
Really BAD EYE OPENING news can really make one feel down and NUMB until the reality of it all hits.Â
My reality will hit on Thursday night/Friday morning 
 I HAVE BEEN NUMB SINCE 12/15/06…………………………………………. I didn’t enjoy the holiday season like I normally did…… :( I didn’t get to spend time with my parents or brother on Christmas…………… :( ho hum
